🎱HISTORY​

Ralph Rutendo grew up an orphan on the streets of Capetown running cons & stealing to survive. One day he stole the wristwatch from a tourist who, it turns out, was an assassin in the area for work. Impressed that a kid had the talent to get one over on him he took Ralph in, raised him, and trained him to turn that gift into a living. At 16 he struck out on his own and has been a menace ever since.
Despite his career path Ralph isn't the type to kill without reason. He has a code & is in demand enough to be able to follow it.

SKILLS🎱​

Peak Condition- Through his years of training and work Ralph has reached the peak of what is humanely possible both mentally and physically for his line of work. His speed, strength, and tactical thinking rivals that of olympic talents.
Combat Mastery- During his youth he was trained by Masters in Kung-Fu, BJJ, Silat, Kukishin-ryu Bojutsu, & Karate.
Espionage & Covert Operations- Tutelage from his adoptive father and his tenure as a covert assassin crafted him into nothing short of a ghost.
Magic Tactician- Following the passing of his uncle, Ralph studied the mystic arts and has attained the skill level needed to effortlessly weave magic into his fighting style.
Acrobatics- As part of his training he spent a total of 60 months across 10 years training with circus acrobats to attain full control over his bodies movements.

🎱POWERS​

Superhuman Neural Pathway Construction- Ralph's meta gene allows his brain to build neural pathways at almost 20x the rate of a normal person. This has allowed him to learn and develop skills at a rate that even savants wish they could achieve.
Mystic Restrictions- A Mystic Restriction is a deal made with the idea of magic itself to gain access to incredibly powerful enhancements however, these come at a cost. A person must exchange something they hold dear or would struggle to live without to obtain these abilities.
  • Ralph was granted perfect aim in exchange for his ability to hit a target with anything other than a pool ball struck by a pool cue.
  • Ralph was granted immediate mastery of conjuration magic as well as an increase to the range his constructs can maintain their shape in exchange for only being able to conjure pool balls within 5 feet of himself.
  • Ralph was given the ability to place magic sigils with just a touch but, he can only do so on himself, an object he conjured, or something he has spent 168 hours in constant physical contact with.
Conjuration Magic- Ralph can, at will, conjure a pool ball anywhere within a 5 foot sphere centered around himself. These balls float in the air and behave like pool balls when struck. Shooting through the air and bouncing off of any other pool balls they might hit. They remain conjured until Ralph dismisses them or he moves more than 5 miles from them.
Sigil Magic- Ralph studied magic in the form of sigils. Trading the speed of somatic casting for the flexibility of adding triggers to weaker versions of spells or imbuing things with special properties. He can place the following sigils.
  • Pierce- The object gains the ability to pierce other objects.
  • Slash- The object gains the ability to cut other objects.
  • Accelerate- The object doubles in speed.
  • Fireball- The object explodes like a grenade.
  • Lock- Whatever the sigil touches becomes locked in place.
  • Heavy- Whatever the sigil touches becomes 10lbs heavier for 10 minutes. Can stack.
  • Feather- Whatever the sigil touches becomes half as heavy for 5 minutes. Can stack.
  • Smokescreen- A thick cloud of heavy smoke erupts from the sigil.
  • Bounce- When something touches the sigil it is repelled in the opposite direction at 2x speed.
  • Magic Missile- Creates three homing arcane darts that strike a target. Roughly the same strength as armor piercing bullets.
  • Flash- The sigil creates a momentary burst of blinding light.
  • Mage Armor- An imperceptible magic barrier surrounds the target that halves the force of impacts. Lasts for 8 hours.
  • Mirror Image- Two illusory duplicates of the target are created. They move with the original.

PARAPHERNALIA🎱​

Custom Steel Pool Cue- The main weapon that Ricochet carries is a steel pool cue. On its tip he keeps a pierce & slash sigil at all times. This allows him to fight with it as if it were a spear. Closer to the middle of the cue he had a tactical rail placed to allow the attachment of long range scopes for distance missions
