- Powers (if any): Susanna can puppet and manipulate up to three dead animals and humans with a limit of 300 pounds per puppet. If she only puppets one dead creature she can see and hear through it for up to 60 seconds before the connection breaks. She cannot puppet and see through a dead creature at the same time. Her power has a range of 100 ft.
- Susanna can also speak with dead bodies up to 24 hrs after death for up to five minutes. The bodies only retain what they knew in life, and cannot be compelled to speak the truth. Body must be intact enough for the person to speak.

Brief character bio
Susanna was born and raised in St Cloud with several siblings and an obsession with pets and animals and was on her way to studying veterinary medicine. Even now she loves animals and prefers them to people. People are tricky since…everything.
Her powers manifested when she was fourteen. Her dog was killed after being hit by a car and she called for him to come to her in desperation and to everyone horror the small labrador stood back up and walked over to her, licking her hand.
Susanna’s family wasn’t understanding, and rumors quickly flew around. People avoided her. People don’t like to think about death. Her friends who found out considered her a freak- a strange girl who smelled like death. Except for her friend, Janie, a fellow meta.
Unfortunately, when she was sixteen, Susanna and Jaine fell victim to a meta-human gang that called themselves the Rattlers in Minneapolis, who specialized in trafficking their fellow meta-humans. When they tried to fight back, Janie was shot and killed. Susanna used her power to puppet her friend's body in self-defense until her throat was slit.
A meta with healing abilities, Marco, saved Susannas life, because her power had proven useful, but he did not restore her vocal cords. She has been mute ever since. The gang forced her to exhibit her powers again, before taking her back to one of the safehouses until she complied. It didn’t matter what they did to try to get her to agree. It didn’t leave a mark thanks to Marco. She refuses to talk about it.
Marco had a soft spot for her, which kept her safe in some circumstances, caring for her in his own twisted way.
After a few years of terrorizing other gangs and trafficking metas, the Rattlers were approached by Obdisian.
The Rattlers refused to bend the knee to Slate and were quickly, and violently dealt with. Susanna was one of the few survivors, and after explaining her situation, Obsidian inducted her into Slate, to which she readily agreed, out of ideological agreement, and penance for what she had done to her fellow metahumans.She has a strict policy of not harming metas unless no other option exists.
She took the name Onyx.
