Approved Jeremy McHench

Name: Jeremy McHench
Gender: Male (he/him)
Alias: ... Jeremy?
Age: Late-20s or Early-30s
Height: 5’9”
Appearance: Think of a guy. Any guy. Now give him a clipboard. Perfect, that’s him.
Scent Profile: Explosion-smoke, graphite, marinara sauce, lemon-lime cleaner/soap
Personality: Easy-going, a little dumb, and singlemindedly devoted to his Boss, Johnny Skull-Man.

Power Level: Don’t Worry ‘Bout It
Alignment: Yes
Alliances: Johnny Skull-Man (Boss)

Powers: Jeremy’s a real good Right Hand Man. You need a fireworks display set up so you can toss your trussed-up arch-nemesis in there and wait for the boom? He’s got you covered - you’ll have a whole bonanza in ten minutes flat even if the Fourth of July is months away. Where did he get all these fireworks, you ask? Don’t worry ‘bout it, boss, just do your thing.

  • [I Know A Guy - Somehow, Jeremy knows how to source and set up all manner of outlandish equipment. This is perfect for pulling off otherwise unfeasible villainous escapades, though he can never use the same trick twice. If it doesn’t work the first time (which it never does), then it’s back to the drawing board. (Though he’ll still be there to pat the villain on the back, escorting them away with a reassuring, ‘we’ll get ‘em next time for sure, boss’.)]
  • [I Gotcha, Boss - A good Right Hand Man is never just that, and Jeremy wears many hats. Over the years, he’s picked up a wide range of entry-level expertise, learning just enough to Get The Job Done before moving on. He’s something of a jack-of-all-trades now, though he’s completely unexceptional in all but three of those fields; cooking, cleaning, and accounting (or the ‘Three C’s’, as he calls them) are his constants.]
  • [Shadow of Greatness - When you’re in the presence of a much greater evil, it’s easy to dismiss the relatively unassuming henchperson standing next to them. Something about Jeremy seems to encourage this behavior, and he often skirts by just under the radar until he makes an effort to speak up. Fortunately, this works super well when he’s setting up for the big debut, and he’s almost never interrupted! Unfortunately, he always seems to draw the heroes’ attention by backing up his boss with a well-placed riff.]
