Powers: Atlas possesses a dormant super speed gene. Currently it only grants them heightened sensory perception, allowing them to process sensory stimuli more quickly and accurately than the average person, and thus react faster. They also has a heightened metabolism which allows them to heal faster; superficial wounds heal in a few minutes to a couple hours depending on the severity, while deeper wounds take at several hours to a few day. Broken bones also will not realign themselves. He does not realize that these are meta-human powers, believing some people are just "like this"
Skills: Atlas is a proficient hacker and researcher with a degree in computer science from MIT. Atlas also earned their Pirate Certificate at MIT, giving them proficiency in archery, pistols, fencing, and sailing (they doesn't use the last one often). They have also taught himself multiple instruments.
Equipment: Atlas' primary weapon is a recurve bow. They carries 30 normal arrows and 5 poisoned arrows at all times, with various other specialty arrows they use on very rare occasions. Their secondary weapon is single edged short sword they carry on the back of their waist. They also have a dagger on each thigh and a micro compact 9mm pistol on each ankle in case of emergencies. They also have a prototype brain implant they designed off the books with help from a biotech major friend what allows them to onload and offload data directly to and from their memories.
Bio: Damian Carter had three facinations growing up: astonomy, a study of things so much greater than himself; computers, an organized system and databse of seemingly never ending knowledge; and the hunt, a primitive instincte that drove him to advance his mind and body as far as they would go. These three are the dirving force that led to him becoming Atlas. Growing up in Pittsburgh, it was hard to study the hunt except on periodic camping trips his family took. Even then he was limited by his age, hunting laws, and the fact he always had to go in groups. As a result he dedicated most of his time to his other interests. He spent hours in the library reading books about astronomy and the mythical beings the celestials were named after, and he took as many computer science classes. By the time he graduated he knew what his next step had to be: MIT. There he would be able study computers more in depth that was far enough away that he would be able understand why he fixated on these things. He was correct. In the quite of his own mind, away from his family, he began to view himself differently, as a concept or image of something greater, of the hunt. It is at this point he began seeking ways to apply his facinations directly to himself. They changed their pronouns to better appy to themself as a concept, they made a friend who would help them design the implant that would allow them to conect directly to that vast pelthora of organization and knowlege. Most importantly they honed their skils in the hunt, becoming prificient in several weapons. By graduation they were ready to take the last step: eliminate any record of Damian Carter in the world so only Atlas "Orion" Solheim, the hunter who could slay any creatrure, remained. They spent months hacking and eliminating records of their former self. The only person who knew what they were now was their biotech friend who they periodically visit to help make adjustments to the implant. Finally they returned home to Pittsburgh a perfect hunter, where they've spent the last 5 years hunting for hire.
